Here's something Lulu at Canadian Cynic won't confront

Lulu at Canadian Cynic is once again trying to smear someone who disagrees with her feminist ideology.

She "dares" me to address the issue of the "Army of God".

What a really lame attempt.

Just about every pro-life group in North America except The Army of God, and perhaps a few groupuscules condemn the use of violence. Father Thomas Eutenueur of Human Life International is quoted as saying: "For one thing, no one who is pro-life kills anyone. So those who have killed abortionists or bombed abortion clinics may be anti-abortion, but they are certainly not pro-life. No pro-life organization that I know of, and certainly not Human Life International, condones or advocates violence against any person. To do so would go against our pro-life beliefs. All human life is precious... without exception."

Lulu doesn't let the facts in the way of a good smear, though. All that matters is the sh*t-flinging, not the actual discussion of facts. That's not what they're about at Canadian Cynic. They're about character assassination and sophistries, because they won't debate the real issues.

Lulu thinks that by pointing to some violent extremist, she's going to shut me up.

It doesn't work that way.

But while we're on the subject of violence, let's talk about the violence of abortion.

While the vast majority of pro-lifers condemn violence to further the cause of fetal rights, the vast majority of advocates for legal abortion agree that killing a fetus, even a late-term fetus, is morally acceptable.

The suffering late-term babies, like this one, are a trifle for them.

I know what they say: it's a "fake" abortion picture. As if they have the guts to show what an abortion really looks like, late term or otherwise. How do they know it's fake, unless they haven't seen "REAL" abortion pictures themselves?

As if sucking the brains out of a third-trimester baby isn't bad enough, some abortionist rip off the baby's head, as it was testified during the Gonzales versus Carhart case:

Still other physicians reach into the cervix with their forceps and crush the fetus’ skull. Carhart, supra, at 858, 881. Others continue to pull the fetus out of the woman until it disarticulates at the neck, in effect decapitating it. These doctors then grasp the head with forceps, crush it, and remove it. Id., at 864, 878; see also Planned Parenthood, supra, at 965.

Oh, but Partial Birth Abortion is rarely done in Canada, they claim.

As if the alternative is any better: taking a syringe full of potassium chloride and inserting it into the unborn baby's heart, so the baby can die of painful cardiac arrest.

Aren't anti-death penalty advocates in the US arguing that KCL injections are "cruel and unusual punishment" for adult inmates under anesthetic?

But hey, it's A-OK to make unborn children suffer, right? They're not living, breathing human beings. The fact that they live in their mother's uterus and do not draw oxygen through their lungs disqualifies them from any consideration about their well-being. Technicalities like that are really useful to harden one's heart against the pain of others.

After all, as Joyce Arthur says "fetuses are not that important" and "fetuses are none of our business".

Didn't they used to say that about women?

Somehow, the irony hasn't dawned on the feminists.
