Shady abortion practices in Alabama

This is to follow up on my post on criminal abortions in Florida. Alabama is now contemplating new regulations, in light of recent inspections. Here are some findings:

Anti-abortion groups have been especially dogged in their demands for reform in the months since a state health department investigation uncovered several violations at the Summit Medical Center in Birmingham, including abortions being performed without a doctor's presence.

I've seen reports of this frequently enough that I can tell you, it's not that unusual.

In one case, health officials reported that a woman delivered a stillborn baby at an emergency room in February after a Summit nurse gave her the RU 486 abortion drug even though her blood pressure was too high and the baby was nearly full-term.

RU-486 for a full term baby? Is the nurse stupid? And what in the world is the mom doing aborting an almost full-term baby. How is that legal???

The department suspended Summit's operations on May 17 and the clinic became permanently closed when it surrendered its license on June 14.

I hope so!

Where is the outcry from feminists about these quacks?

You won't find any.
