Frontline on PBS produced a documentary on abortion in 1983. The documentary has divided into segments and shown here.
There are two sections that show women getting abortions. One is Helen's abortion.
This is supposed to be the "easy" abortion as the description says, but the girl getting aborted doesn't look too happy during the event. They also show the "contents" of the abortion, but in early pregnancy, most of what you end up with is placental tissue. There seems to be some little parts, but it's a big bloody mess, and I don't like looking at that stuff.
I also find it interesting that the abortionist says he has no problem with first-trimester abortions, but that if he did second-trimester abortions, it would affect him over time.

If there was ever an advertisement as to why a woman shouldn't get an abortion, this is it. Ugh, it looks disgusting from the patient's point of view. She's obviously in pain and suffering. It's gross. If women saw that before they got an abortion, maybe they wouldn't be so keen to have one.
The rest of the documentary is pretty good, too. Not exactly a celebration of abortion. It shows that a lot of these women don't choose abortion, so much as feel this is their only choice.
