Pro-abort wants to impose her religious views on everyone

I was alerted to this story via the Transfigurations blog:

"If we ever again make abortion completely illegal, we will have established one religion's view on when the human being becomes human, i.e., one religion's view of ensoulment."

This is patently ridiculous. The notion of who deserves rights is a philosophical one that can be debated both within a religious context and outside of it. The point is not to criminalize abortion so much as to establish fetal rights. We can't have conflicting ideas of who deserves rights and who doesn't-- that would lead to inequality.
